How to use
Put the porridge and the milk** or water in a saucepan over a medium heat. Bring to a steady simmer for 5 to 6 minutes stir as often as you can to produce a smooth creamy porridge. If you prefer your porridge runnier, simply add a bit more milk or water until you’ve got the consistency you like. ** Canella uses almond or coconut milk!
Once you’ve mastered the basic porridge recipe, get creative and add your favourite toppings. Use all types of fruit (fresh or in compote), spices, toasted nuts & grains, coconut flakes, yoghourt – the options are endless!
